The ideal candidate is a meticulous and methodical QA professional with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and a passion for ensuring product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software.
Required Qualifications:
- Manual Testing Experience: Proven experience in manual testing of web applications
- Testing Knowledge: ISTQB CTFL certificate or equivalent knowledge
- Methodologies: Familiarity with a variety of testing types and techniques (e.g., Black Box, White Box)
- Defect Tracking: Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
- SQL Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing
- Linux Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux, including the ability to SSH into servers and execute commands
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Must be eligible to work in the EU and a resident in Hungary
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in testing financial or FinTech applications
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, KYC/AML)
- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) and interest in test automation
- Experience working with Confluence or similar documentation tools
