Your mission
  • Perform thorough manual testing of web applications in a fast-paced FinTech environment
  • Design, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
  • Validate functional and non-functional requirements against actual application behavior
  • Conduct regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
  • Log detailed and reproducible defects in the bug tracking system (e.g., Jira)
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Analyze test results and work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and best practices
Your profile
The ideal candidate is a meticulous and methodical QA professional with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and a passion for ensuring product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software.

Required Qualifications:
  • Manual Testing Experience: Proven experience in manual testing of web applications
  • Testing Knowledge: ISTQB CTFL certificate or equivalent knowledge
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with a variety of testing types and techniques (e.g., Black Box, White Box)
  • Defect Tracking: Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
  • SQL Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing
  • Linux Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux, including the ability to SSH into servers and execute commands
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Must be eligible to work in the EU and a resident in Hungary
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience in testing financial or FinTech applications
  • Understanding of security and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, KYC/AML)
  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) and interest in test automation
  • Experience working with Confluence or similar documentation tools
